History

Over the years many of our pupils have gone on to have careers in the performing arts field, whether it be Performing, Teaching or behind the scenes in Television, Film and Theatre. We are very proud of them all, and continue to support them in their future careers.

The
Shows

We would like to say a huge congratulations to everyone who took part in our show ‘Acting Up Together’ which we performed at the Dylan Thomas Theatre. We were so lucky that we managed to perform on the 1st March and enable students to show case their talents before we went into lockdown.
Performing two shows in one day was no easy task, especially for some of our younger performers, but both shows were a fantastic success and each and every performer gave it their all. We even had the audience laughing, crying and dancing in the isles!
We were extremely proud of you all and cannot wait until we are able to get into the theatre once more.

Christmas
Parades

We had great fun last Christmas taking part in the Christmas Parade which also celebrated 50 years of Swansea being a city. We were so happy to be taking part in such a community spirited event, and even more excited to welcome the arrival of Santa himself!
We are looking forward to taking part in this years event.

Corona Virus Update

During this very surreal time, Covid-19 has not dampened the enthusiasm and creativity of our pupils, we were able to continue with online classes.
We were so proud of our students who’s committed work ethic meant that they were able to take their L.A.M.D.A. Examinations on line. This is something that we are incredibly proud of as we will take our place in history.

Lock down life has been very strange for us all but because of our pupils dedication and commitment we could continue their learning and developing of their skills while having fun.
Our particular favourite was our Fancy dress Mondays. Your creativity was amazing! From Gangster Grannies to Marge Simpson. We couldn’t wait to see who logged on next!
We would also like to thank your parents for their support and fantastic home made costumes.

Together we give
Thanks

Even though we were in lockdown we still managed to create a poem in English and in Welsh, which captured our feelings of lockdown and gave thanks to all our key workers.
Our little ones created a news at 10.00 report which covered the importance of a smile. This certainly made us grin.
And our students constantly showcased their talents by uploading videos and messages via our social media pages.

Fun

We even managed an end of term on line disco complete with lights and party food. It was such a joy to see you all dancing together. We were miles apart but all together on screen enjoying a good old boogie!

We would like to say we are so very proud of each and every one of you for your dedication, energy and attendance.
We cannot wait to see you all again in person but for now on line it will have to be –but not for much longer.

Upcoming
Events

Due to Covid 19 we unfortunately had to postpone some of our workshops and performances.
Guest teachers, workshops and performances will be rescheduled for the new term and we look forward to a fresh start and exciting times ahead.
